Southern Bangers rule once again at the biggest night of the year for the Bang and Crash Brigade.

A very wet Wimbledon evening saw 70 drivers attend the 1987 Banger World Final. Top car being Ringwood visitor Steve Crofts huge 1972 Chevrolet Kingswood Station Wagon.

Aldershot's finest, 20 Roger Wilkinson (XJ Jaguar) won the title race with 114 Mick Davis and 122 Trevor Newland finishing as runners up in their Austin A60s which were the perfect car for the conditions.

Highlight action being 267 Sean Liddiard's (Rover P5) blitz on 305 Deane Wood (XJ Jaguar) in the DD.

All the Banger races plus many interviews makes a complete record of the meeting and the usual enthusiastic crowd added their noisy support.
