Highlights
Aldershot 31st March 1986 £500 Final. A really hard & rough meeting. 225 Graham Lashly (Wolseley 6/110) & 91 Jimmy Moyse (P5) are fueding, 112 Sean Gallagher (Westy) jacks up 486 Richard Blanks (A90 Westy) a treat. 57 Steve Evans (XJ) gets a length of straight T Bone from 28 Brian Chiverton (XJ) resulting in the ambulance on the track, 225 is on form with a huge amount of damage to the front end of his westy.
Wimbledon 4th May 1986 British Figue of 8. The Warriors are on form. 20 Roger Wilkinson (XJ) won the title, 112 Sean Gallagher (P5) won the DD
Aldershot 26th May 1986 Figure of 8. The meeting 323 Geoff Roberts had a 105e Ford Anglia & did really well.
Aldershot 29th May 1986 3litre Magazine Tongham Classic. All the top drivers. 7 A60s, 5 P5 Rovers, 8 XJ Jaguars, 4 Westminsters, MK2 Jaguar & 91 Jimmy Moyse Daimler Majestic. 267 placed a lawnmower on the centre green (in Warriors colours!) but they never showed. Action wise 225 Graham Lashly (Westy) is on fine form - jacking the 777 Mike Ridgery A60 sky high, snapping 20 Roger Wilko's XJ Jaguar & warring with 267 Sean Liddiard (P5). A great meeting.
Aldershot 3rd July 1986 3litre Mag Figure of 8. Features the huge inter-section crash involving 486 Richard Blanks (P5) & 298 Dave Soaper (P6) resulting in 486 having his P5 snapped off & 298 on his roof, 260 Keith Reynolds has a MK4 Zephyr estate. A really good meeting with lots of action.
Ipswich Spedeweekend 1986 This was the one in the pouring rain with caravan racing, but material over-drive, with lots of P5s, Westminsters and Austin 3 Litres. 113 Carl Gallagher & 33 Simon Reed had Daimler Majestic Limos.
Aldershot 9th October 1986 1300 cc teams. A classic meeting and full of action. 14 Dave Guintini having an indestructable MK3 Cortina (in Bexley Suicide Squad colours!) an epic 57 Car final.
Aldershot 13 November 1986 Pot of silver. Highlight being 777 Mike Ridgery having his A110 Westminster jacked 6ft up by a Hillman Avenger. Lots of action - when bangers were good & folded up!
