For the first time ever Spedeworth hosted an Open Banger meeting, and what an event it turned out to be.
All the drivers had to pay an entrance fee, and in excess of 170 did so, as well as many more who turned up on the night.
Although it was not a team event most of the top teams from other promotions were well represented and some heavy action followed.
Four Heats, Two Consolations, London Open Championship, "B" Final and a Destruction Derby to finish makes this a Banger fan's delight.
